snackTAXI is the original reusable bags for snacks and sandwiches since 2003! I'm so thankful that we are finally in a day in age where we can reuse and recycle. There is really no use for plastic zip lock bags anymore!
snackTAXI sent me one of their sandwich-sacks and snack-sacks for review + I'll be GIVING AWAY the snack-sack to one lucky winner! The pattern above is to die for. You could send these to school with your kids, pack them in your own lunches, your spouses lunch, you name it!
The the exterior of a snackTAXI is comprised of 100% cotton, and the interior is lined with polyurethane coated nylon. All materials are lead, phthalate and BPA free! It's anything goes when it comes to washing your snackTAXIs. They can be machine washed (recommend unscented detergent) and dried in the dryer, or simply rinsed with water and air dried. They recommend emptying them after each use.
The size of the sandwich-sack is very generous. It easily fits my sons sandwiches but would fit a sandwich packed with several toppings. All sacks nicely secure with velcro.
Why switch to reusable bags? Here's some food for thought.......
