Citrus Lane September Box Review + Coupon Code

When this yellow box arrives on our door each month I'm not sure who gets more excited, me or the boys. This months Citrus Lane theme was "Animal Parade" and it sure featured an array of different animals.

Rich Frog Tub Sponge- My prince got this cute green prince frog sponge & he immediately said "bath, bath" and there was no waiting and so we had a midday bath and fun with froggie. Later on when his older brother saw this sponge the battle was on and I wished I had two (maybe they'll add a 3+ box soon.....)

I love how Citrus Lane finds things that even I didn't think would be as popular as they are with my kids. Which is one of the many reasons I love seeing that cheerful yellow box monthly.

BABYBUG- we received Septembers issue of BABYBUG magazine by cricketmag.com and it's built more durable then a traditional magazine for babies easily handling. Again not a product I thought much of BUT I handed it to Cooper (he's 18 months and I have his box upped to 25 months) and he immediately started pointing out animals, making their noises, showing me the food inside, talking up a storm!

Plum Organics Teensy Fruits- We became hooked on these snacks from a previous Citrus Lane box! They are organic with no added sugar the size is small and perfect for toddlers for easy chewing. They taste like fresh picked apples with a sweet kick, nice texture, and I even love to eat these. :)

Green Sprouts Slicker Bib- this bib is large, waterproof, lightweight with a huge trough to catch food from your messy eater.... Now Cooper is 18 months, I age his box up so this months box was 25 months and this bib is for 12-24 months. Maybe it's a mistake, not sure I'm awaiting an email back from Customer Service. Cooper wouldn't use a bib if i paid him! That being said I thought I'd do something fun.... I'm GIVING AWAY THIS BIB! Who doesn't love a GIVEAWAY? To enter: Follow my blog if you're not already and post a comment on this review as to why your messy eater could use this bib. I'll pick a winner 9/30/12

Begin Again Animal Buddy Blocks- I love how Citrus Lane described this toy "simple toys that teach complicated concepts" Both my boys loved these blocks from ImagiPlay & played with them in different ways. My older son tried to make each animal while my 18 month old just stacked the blocks and enjoyed playing with them.

As you can see there's an "animal parade" in my house on a daily bases! I live with TWO MONKEYS! I love Citrus Lane because it gives me things to help keep these monkeys occupied.

Citrus Lane boxes are for ages NB- 3yrs old. Every month is a different theme. So far I've received "Dining out", "Bedtime, Bathtime", "Fun In The Sun", "Little Artist", "Bon Voyage", "Back to School", and now "Animal Parade".

  1. my messy eater needs it because he doesn't eat without making a big mess and loves food

  2. I have two messy eaters! One has oatmeal every morning, and his favorite food is yogurt. (I think that says it all.) The other prefers to blow bubbles in his food than eat it. So we can always use another laminated bib. Thanks for the giveaway - great idea for your unused box item!

  3. I agree with Lauren above. Yogurt and my two year old daughter do not mix! She starts off so well and then BAM! Hands in the yogurt, hands on the clothes, hands on the mommy. Maybe I'm the one who can use the bib...hmmm... ;)
